A 360 fof 50$?! Not bad at all! Myself I've quite the nerd I like a lot of old school games such as half-life (I play through it or one of its expansions on a regular basis), starcraft, red alert 2, alien VS predator and caesar 3. I also LOVE Medieval 2: total war and the Dawn Of War Series. As some of you might have guessed I'm bg on RTS games I've also got a PS2 in which I play a lot of TImesplitters 3, Guitar Hero 2, The Punisher & GTA: San andreas.

What Half-life expansions do you play? I played Blue Shift and Opposing Force a long time ago, I could again.

Opposing Force is probably the expansion I play the most. I'm also really looking forward to Black Mesa Soure, it's an extensive modding project that remakes the entire Half-Life 1 game with the graphics and physics of HL2.

I've bought a XBOX360 now and I'm definately enjoying next-gen gaming ^__^ I've got a bunch of games, Gear Of War, The Darkness (with Mike Patton as one of the voice actors!), Dead Rising and a few more. Gonna get The Orange Box (collection fo Half-Life 2+ Episodes 1&2, Portal and Team Fortress 2 for those who don't know ) soon, looking forward to a lot more gaming, though I've got Assassins Creed to keep me busy for a while until then ^__^

I recently got given a 360 by my brother, to be honest it doesn't exactly tickle me the way my DS does. That being said I've not been that big a gamer since 2005, so the DS suits me to play when I'm waiting for a train or something. I just find it difficult to sit around inside now and play video games for prolonged periods of time.
That being said, Rock Band/Guitar Hero are true party games. Screw spin the bottle and that crap, playing Black Hole Sun and Ballroom Blitz is where it's at!

I'd love to start gaming again with a next gen system as soon as prices go down... I'm with a PS2 and not much to play

Yeah, I still play on my PS2 a little bit (mainly for Pro Evolution Soccer and Timesplitters!) but mainly I keep my gaming systems so my nephue can play on them and such.
I know it's probably nostalgia, but I still think the Megadrive and Nintendo 64 play better than most modern games.
